The Most Common Questions About How Our Mobile Imaging Services Work

The Medical Industry is an increasingly complicated one and we strive
to be as helpful and transparent as possible. We’ve compiled a list
of the questions we get asked most in hopes that this will answer some
question and bring you one step closer to the convenience and cost
savings of choosing Mobile Imaging.

1. “Do you bill the patients insurance?”

Many vendors bill the nursing home for services as to not deal with
insurance companies. We bill the patient’s insurance unless the
patient is skilled in which case we are required to bill the facility.    

2. “What insurances do you take?”

We are in-network with all major providers- Humana, United HealthCare,
Medicare, Medicaid, Peoples Health, PPO Plus, and Beech Street but we
accept all insurances.

3. “Do you go to patient’s homes?”

Yes. However, as with any portable x-ray it has to be deemed medically
necessary to have a mobile x-ray by the physician. For Ultrasounds we can
go anywhere, anytime to preform them including patients homes

4. “What about patient’s with no insurance?”

We offer private pay patients a discounted rate that can be discussed beforehand 

5. “What service areas are covered?”

We currently serve as far West as Lafayette, as South as St James and
as East as Hammond and as North as Kentwood. We will be in the New
Orleans area later this year and moving further North and West next
year.
